Chapter 54: The Golem
Due to Sunan's unexpected intervention, the war concluded in a way that no one had anticipated.
In this battle, the enemy suffered over 1,300 casualties, with around 600 to 700 soldiers captured. Many others fled, disappearing without a trace.
In contrast, the number of soldiers lost from Blackstone City was relatively low—fewer than 200. However, over twenty Blackrock Panthers were destroyed.
As the aftermath was assessed, Bred's face twitched with distress at the loss of the panthers.
Most people, however, were filled with excitement. After all, to defeat the rebels at such a cost was more than worth it.
With the victory, a festive atmosphere enveloped Blackstone City.
That evening, Kyi hosted a celebratory banquet in the inner fortress hall. Knights gathered together, drinking and rejoicing. Some injured knights, bandaged up, were still competing in drinking contests.
After a round of drinks in the main hall with the generals, Kyi made his way to the conference room at the back, where he found Sunan resting, only to discover he was petting a cat.
"When did you get a cat?" Kyi asked, surprised, glancing at the white cat lounging on Sunan's lap.
"This is Amy, my friend," Sunan replied with a slight smile, introducing Amy, "This is my brother Kyi."
Seeing Sunan introduce a cat with such seriousness amused Kyi, but his eyes widened in shock the next moment.
