"Hrnggh!" Waking up while stretching his arms wide, Aiden took a deep yawn and noticed something weird with his body.
He was not feeling any pain anywhere.
The skin burns he had from the serpent's venom were rejuvenated with new life.
The wounds that he suffered in the fight against the Serpent were all healed up.
No blood was seeping out, and even his leg, which was swollen due to poison, was back to its normal condition.
He was fully healed, back to fit.
"What happened? Am I dreaming?" Aiden muttered in denial as he checked himself again and again.
His fingers trembled as he traced over his leg where the scales pierced his muscles.
It had been completely restored to its original state.
His back felt extremely agile, and the backbone felt completely attached, unlike it should have been after that impact with the boulder.
