What the hell! I was floored. After Lily got humiliated by Jack and Noah that night, she was raped by some fake cop at home. I was outside the window the whole time and had no clue Logan was there too! How could that be?
What was he doing at Lily's place so late? Where was he hiding? How did we miss each other? Was Logan using this to blackmail Lily? My mind was spinning with all these wild thoughts.
Lily quickly pulled away from Logan, moved to the other side, and with a touch of sadness in her big eyes, she softly said, "Stop, I don't want to hear your excuses."
"I swear, I didn't mean to hurt you. But after seeing you that day, I couldn't get you out of my head. Then I saw you with Ethan, and later with your ex, and I... I just lost it." Logan, a lump of fat, sat on the bed pretending to look at Lily affectionately while stroking her smooth, white thigh.
Ex-boyfriend! My mind raced. I remembered the time I'd forgotten to close the door and Logan had seen Lily and me. Lily had blamed me for a long time, but I didn't realize that wasn't the first time Logan had seen Lily naked.
But I couldn't figure out who Logan was talking about. Was it Jack? Or Noah? That rainy night, those two had been seriously injured by the fake cop, so they shouldn't have been able to bully Lily again. And Logan didn't seem to know about the parking lot incident. What did it all mean?
"I don't want to hear it," Lily said, her eyes glistening. She shook her head gently. "Just stop. I need to see Ethan. He's waiting for me." Lily tugged the sheet up to cover her chest and started to get up.
But Logan blocked her way, excitedly and stutteringly saying, "Leave Ethan! This... sneaking around will catch up with you. What's he going to think then? I'm transferring to Aurora College.
Come with me. Be my girlfriend. I don't care about your past."
