Chapter 267: No Incidents
He hadn’t been so frustrated in a long time, but since his adorable sister had spoken, he had no choice but to obey.
"Not much, the guys have found quite a number of supplies underwater. They should have also collected some from inside the floors that have not been flooded yet." Chu Miao, who knew her brother well and knew that he was itching to go and explore by himself, replied.
The three then started to have small talk about the establishment of the sect while they waited for the others to come back.
After about an hour, the first motor boat came back. It was carrying Li Kian and a few other soldiers. The Li family siblings didn’t stick together but instead chose others as their team mates so that they could blend in with the rest to create bonds.
Fu Nie was in the same team as Li Kian and with his lively personality, he became friends with others pretty fast. He was also likable and since he was the youngest among the soldiers, they treated him well.
Even before the boat reached the yacht, the three on the yacht could already hear him calling out to Chu Hao to help pull up the supplies because they had to go back and bring more.
After each boat made a few trips, the group had collected a lot of supplies and were ready to go home. Because of the large number of food and other supplies including daily necessities that had been collected, most of them had to be put in Chu Hao’s space.
They decided to talk about how to distribute them when they got back. Hence, after the last boat came back from their last trip, Ye Xuan went back to the helm of the yacht to start it and head home.
The others having completed their mission decided to stay on the deck so that they don’t dirty the inside with the flood water they carried on their clothes. They said that they would change their clothes after they got back and took a shower.
Seeing that she couldn’t convince them otherwise, Chu Miao didn’t bother with them anymore and went down to the cabin to check on the soldier who had been awakening. She found him fast asleep and decided to let him be.
Thus, she went back to keep Ye Xuan company at the helm. The group arrived home without any incidents and just like before, they unloaded some of the supplies left on the boat into the corridor of the fourth floor and had everyone carry some while climbing the stairs.
Chu Miao put away the yacht discreetly and followed everyone on the stairs. She chose not to teleport to avoid others from developing resentment.
