Chapter 260: Staying Under the Rain
This was nothing short of a miracle. When Chu Miao saw that Li Pan could sit down without her help, she moved over to Chichi and performed the same actions.
The other soldiers also drank the medicine as soon as they got the bottle and soon everyone was as lively as ever. They didn’t feel the fatigue from all the fighting and their wounds were healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
They had never experienced something like this before. This was yet another reason the soldiers and the members of Li family felt they had made the right choice to ally themselves with the Chu family.
There was no way they could get something like the medicine they had just taken anywhere else in the world. They had to hold on to this thick thigh and never let go. Being treated so well, whoever let go would be stupid to his/her eighth generation ancestry.
"Do you want to change your clothes?" Chu Miao asked the people still sitting in the rain and all of them refused.
"We are going to get into the water again when we look for supplies later anyways, so what’s the use of changing into dry clothes now?" Chichi, who had already experienced the hardships of looking for supplies underwater, replied on behalf of the others.
The other teammates also nodded their heads. They had already heard about how Yang Leo and the rest had dived into the water to look for supplies during their last escapade and they felt that it was useless to change into dry clothes.
"Okay then. Go back to the cabin then. The rain is still heavy and I don’t think it’s comfortable to endure the rain here." Chu Miao started to urge the people on the deck to go below and rest in the cabin but to her surprise, they refused that offer too.
"It was fine when our clothes were clean and dry to sit in the cabin but now that we are dripping wet from flood water, I think it’s better if we just stay out here. It can also help to temper our bodies so that we won’t fall sick so easily in the future." Li Han replied this time and since no one got up, Chu Miao understood that the decision was unanimous.
"Alright then, you guys can stay here. Ye Xuan and I will go back to the helm and drive this boat to our destination." Chu Miao replied then followed her boyfriend back into the helm of the yacht.
"They are a lot tougher than I thought." Chu Miao said to Ye Xuan as soon as she sat down on the chair placed on the side.
Ye Xuan, who was in the middle of starting the boat, paused for a second before proceeding.
