Chapter 205: Delivering Meat and Vegetables
"That’s a great idea. Everyone will think that after splitting the supplies everyone only got a few. So, they won’t be too brazen." Zhao Lu for the first time showed an overwhelmed expression. It looked like his emotions were on overdrive.
"Alright, big brother, get the supplies. I have to go to their house and assess the place so that when I teleport while bringing meat and vegetables I don’t go to the wrong place." She added with a laugh.
After completing their short meeting, Chu Miao went out to wait for her brother who was storing the other supplies.
Standing outside with Ye Xuan, they started talking about their mission the next day.
"What time are we going to pick up Qi Long tomorrow?" Chu Miao asked while leaning against the wall outside Chichi’s apartment.
Ye Xuan standing in front of her replied with a gentle voice, "They should be leaving the base early. Even though it is on significantly higher grounds, there should still be some flood.
I don’t think their plan to drive will work, but since they have already sent the coordinates of the place we are supposed to meet, we can just go there earlier."
"Are you worried about some issues?" Chu Miao asked as she sensed that him going so early had more to it than meets the eye.
"The military leaders are no longer trustworthy. With Qi Long requesting discharge from the army while the leaders see them as their personal fighting force, it might bring resentment and some undesirable actions." Ye Xuan explained his concerns.
