It sprayed a water column towards her and as a human, her instincts felt the danger. Her first reaction was to dodge and as a result, she broke her concentration and the power that was about to reach the fish disappeared.
Chichi immediately felt disappointed, but before she could wallow in self-pity, she saw a gleam flash in front of her and strike the water column heading her way.
She didn’t even get a good look or understand what had happened, but the water column was broken and only a few drops splashed on her.
She didn’t even know whether it was from the rain that was still persisting or the broken water column.
Turning around to look at where the gleam came from, she saw Chu Hao with a sword still pointed in the direction where the water column had been. It was obvious that what had happened was his doing.
However, she couldn’t understand how he had managed to save her when he was on the other end of the boat.
