He lived with his parents and younger sister who was fifteen years old. Their family had not been well-off since he was young as his parents were white-collar workers with average salaries.
They only moved to this high-end neighborhood after he had worked as an associate professor for more than a year and saved some money.
He also took a loan from the bank to add to his savings so that he could afford an apartment in the community. He wanted to give his parents a better life since they had worked hard to raise him and his sister.
He had not expected that, not long after moving to the apartment, the apocalypse would start.
