Chapter 115: Giving Chu Hao a Chance to Train
Chu Miao knew her brother well, so she knew he was behaving like an ostrich. Burying his head in the sand and pretending nothing was happening. It was his way of avoiding reality.
But she decided to talk to him once they got home.
As they were about to get into the car, she seemed to have remembered something and stopped.
"We forgot to collect the crystal cores from the rats inside. Let’s go back and get them." Chu Miao said as she turned around and was about to walk away.
"Stop. I already collected them for you. Your love brain is no longer working and you can even forget such valuable resources." Chu Hao’s voice stopped her in her tracks.
"Hey, no personal attacks. Didn’t I remember just now. What do you mean my love brain?" Chu Miao protested as she turned around again and got into the car.
Ye Xuan was already holding the door open for her with a smile. He found the siblings’ banter entertaining.
Even though her brother annoyed her, Chu Miao still smiled back at Ye Xuan and thanked him before getting into the car.
"Thank you."
"You are welcome." Ye Xuan replied as he went to the other side and got into the back seat and sat next to her at the back of the car.
Chu Hao couldn’t be bothered with them anymore and started driving.
