Chapter 40: The Zombies Getting Stronger
The following morning, when Chu Miao woke up, she realized that the water trickling from her hand had expanded a little. Even though the change was almost negligible, it was there.
She went into the bathroom to freshen up and headed to the living room where everyone else was waiting. Her mother was cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
"Did you guys notice that your superpowers had gotten stronger?" She asked as soon as she sat down.
Yes, all the members of the Chu family found out the previous day morning that they had awakened superpowers on top of the elements they cultivated.
Chu Miao had awakened the water superpower, Father Chu had awakened the earth ability, Chu Hao had awakened the space superpower, Mother Chu had awakened the wood ability, Grandpa Chu had awakened the metal ability, and the butler had awakened fire.
Now, all the members of the family had dual abilities except for Mother Chu, who triggered the wood element and awakened the wood ability. Nevertheless, this also meant she had twice as much energy as other wood element superpowers when healing.
"Yes, the difference is very small but it is there." Chu Hao replied as he had also realized that his superpower ability had strengthened.
"It’s not just the superpower, my cultivation feels stronger as well." Grandpa Chu told them his observation.
"We haven’t cultivated for two days and have rested enough. I was thinking that tonight we should resume cultivation, but instead of cultivating in the space ring, let’s cultivate in the apartment." Chu Miao felt that something about the fog was beneficial to them and made such a suggestion.
