Chapter 988: Forgetting Something?
Ferdinand knew her ability would be useful, but he was worried she was already tired.
{I’m fine. The banquet was mostly relaxed, and I didn’t do much in the meeting with the Marquess this morning.}
Arabella assured Ferdinand she would be fine.
{Alright then.}
While Marquess Sibruh did the necessary preparations before the meeting, since it would likely take an hour or more before the nobles arrived, Arabella and Ferdinand had tea together in one of the waiting rooms.
They updated each other about work matters so they wouldn’t have to do so once they were back in the Imperial Palace.
"How are the proposals going?" Ferdinand inquired.
"For the construction projects, I only need your signature now," Arabella grinned proudly.
"Well done. I already knew it wouldn’t take long," Ferdinand chuckled.
Arabella felt even better with Ferdinand praising her.
"My assistants were also almost done with the projects assigned to them. I believe they only have to make the final copy and send it to me. After I do a final check, I’ll have them sent to you as well if there are no problems. As for the relaxing activities, the proposals for the first three events had been finalized and were ready for implementation. The final proposal for the following activities will be done soon as well."
