Arabella smiled and gave him a peck.
Ferdinand smiled and gave her a peck on the forehead.
"I just told you before leaving this room not to exhaust yourself, and yet you did the instant I was gone," he said in a gentle voice.
"It wasn’t intentional," Arabella said honestly.
She was truly so focused that she did not feel time pass by.
All she knew was that she was preparing all the proposals for the construction projects to lessen her tasks.
She did not feel tired or hungry.
Only when it was all over did she finally feel her hand hurt.
And only now that she realized she was actually starving.
Even after eating several cookies and drinking tea, she was still hungry.
