Chapter 774: Please Be A Little Patient
"Right. Then, go on," Arabella agreed since she knew there was no end to this if she kept telling him she could do it herself.
His eyes told her so.
"I’ll wash your hair first. Please sit down so you won’t get tired," Ferdinand said with bright eyes at getting her approval to do this.
Arabella obediently seated herself and obediently observed her husband, waiting for him to make a mistake so she could tell him she could wash herself on her own.
However, he picked up the right one for her hair. He got an ample amount on his palms and lathered it up before applying it on her hair.
[I have to be careful so it doesn’t go into her eyes.] Ferdinand thought as he silently focused on shampooing her hair.
While he was busy, Arabella picked up the soap for her body so could apply it herself. But Ferdinand noticed and caught her hand.
"I’ll apply that as well, my lady. I’m trying to do my best so please be a little patient," Ferdinand teased.
"How dare you reprimanded me. Humph," Arabella gave him an attitude since the way he talked to her and behaved was not that of a well-trained servant which was what he was trying to portray.
Not because he added ’My Lady’ to his words meant that he was acting like a perfect servant. The way he eyed her and touched her as he pleases, he would have been fired immediately if he was a servant.
’Haha. Being a servant doesn’t suit him. In his long life, had he ever become a servant? Or this was his first time to act like one?’ Arabella wondered.
