Chapter 610: More Talented Than They Thought
Alwin almost rolled his eyes but did not dare since Dimo was looking at him with such innocent and admiring eyes.
Dimo might end up misunderstanding that Alwin was annoyed at him if he saw Alwin rolling his eyes.
"Then you better study well," Alwin was defeated and back down.
"Yes, Master! I will do my best," Dimo beamed once again and Alwin could not help but smile back.
"Oh, and I’m not the Empress magician. I am the Emperor’s," Alwin corrected.
"Eh?" Dimo tilted his head and blinked twice as if he was shocked and puzzled. "Then, why are you always with Her Majesty instead of His Majesty?"
"His Majesty can protect himself. No one has ever defeated him here so there is no need to follow him all the time," Alwin explained.
Arabella was rather delighted that Alwin was answering all of Dimo’s questions without complaint.
She was indeed the only one whom he treated so rudely. But she could let it pass as them being friends now after he helped her have Ferdinand return even at such great risk.
She was used to it by now anyway.
Moreover, since she had to be almost always careful with her words when she was speaking with Ferdinand who tended to overthink and overinterpret things, it was nice to have someone like Alwin whom she could speak with without restraints.
