’If she went to Zygos all alone when she’s this easy to tempt, how will she survive?’ Arabella was rather relieved that this was Darcus and Orpheus, people that Evania’s family trusted.
If it were someone else, she would have to remind Renee not to be too trusting of every pretty face she sees.
"It’s alright, my lady. It’s still early morning," Darcus tempted.
"Or do you have to go to work now?" Orpheus inquired.
Arabella already told them though that she had given Renee today as a day off because she had passed out yesterday.
"No, I was given a day off," Renee said, finally accepting their offer.
[Now that I thought about it, Her Majesty must have sent that letter telling me to rest because I passed out.] Renee just realized this because Darcus and Orpheus occupied her mind.
’Things seem to be going well. Maybe, we can officially introduce Darcus and Orpheus to her sooner than planned,’ Arabella hoped Renee would not react badly now once she learns her true identity.
Arabella then left with Alwin and her guards to give the three some privacy. Only Riley remained there and maintained his invisibility.
She then headed to the dining hall and had breakfast with Alwin. He hadn’t had breakfast as well, so they ate together.
"She’s already fawning over them though they had just met yesterday," Alwin complained.
