"Do you mean that entity again?" she inquired.
"Yes. Who else? He was against you getting revived. He must have assigned some of his servants to keep a close eye on our actions. But it was weird that he was paying too much attention to us like he had a grudge or something. Have you ever disrespected him before?"
"Me? No way! I only learned about his existence recently. Why would I be disrespecting him? I’m not that much of an idiot. I won’t do such a thing. I would never dare offend a deity," Arabella defended herself.
Unless it was someone from the reincarnations before her, maybe someone among them was the one who offended him.
’But from my dreams, I don’t recall them ever disrespecting a deity.’
"Then why does he keep getting in our way?" Alwin wondered out loud.
"Maybe he was furious with the other deities for allowing us this chance to live again. But is venting it out on us?" Arabella guessed.
"That could also be true. Maybe, he had someone they did not allow to be given a chance so he didn’t want us getting it when he couldn’t," Alwin supposed.
