Chapter 526: Former Fairy Queen
"The Fairy Queen and I were close friends. She’s akin to a sister to me. The fairies are kind and generous. They lived right beside our territory, and they always made our flowers bloom. I prefer trees, but their flowers are pleasing and invigorating to everyone."
Alvis’ eyes darted to the windows. He stared into the distance with nostalgia in his eyes.
"Did the Great Primordial tell Your Majesty about the Great War?" Alvis resolved to address her the Valerian way to make things easier.
"Yes, he did."
"The Fairy Queen died back then," his shoulders sagged at the memory.
"She asked me for help. But I was occupied.
"I was also trying to heal and protect my people, so I couldn’t go to her side.
"Because of that she and her husband overused their powers to save and protect the fairies and their homeland.
"I wasn’t even able to see their body because they offered and used up everything to save their kind.
"Their fairies retold that their bodies turned to dust and vanished after they used a series of ancient spells despite their wounded state."
Alvis heavily regretted being unable to help.
