Chapter 464: They May Be Getting Bullied Too
"Recently, Lady Odette and Lady Nadia had both begun eating separately too. I’m not sure if this could be the same or related to Lord Ivan’s case but I thought I should inform Your Majesty just in case," Ronald expressed, and Ivan was wide-eyed as he recalled something he forgot to tell them.
"Last time, I thought I was going to be beaten to death and someone knocked on the storage house. When they checked, no one was there but they decided to leave just in case. A few minutes after they left, Lady Nadia came and treated my injuries. She even helped me go back to my room. She knows about what Lady Narcissa had been up to," Ivan added.
He feared that Narcissa may be bullying Nadia too in case she confronted the former about it. And Odette somehow also got dragged into it.
’Oh my. This is bad, those two may indeed be getting bullied too. Narcissa wouldn’t have them beat up too, right?! They have already been through so much,’ Arabella got even more agitated. Her most capable assistants were getting bullied.
Arabella knew that with Nadia’s mindset, she was not even sure if she could be considered a noble. Thus, she must have approached Odette about it. And with Odette being righteous and all, she must have confronted Narcissa. And now they may indeed be getting bullied too.
"Thank you for informing us. We will have someone watch over the two," Arabella said before sending Ivan and Ronald to the dining hall so she could speak with Raymond and Riley.
"Riley, the Magic Tower is not affiliated with any family and thus, everyone believes it had the best likelihood to be impartial in all its judgments. Can you have someone conduct an investigation for this matter?" Arabella asked him since Raymond cannot do it.
The Ryvaleh family might hold a grudge about it if they hear it was Raymond or his office that asked for an investigation.
"Yes, of course, Your Majesty."
"Please keep it a secret in the meantime and have someone protect Nadia and Odette."
Since she was close enough with Alwin and Riley now, she could ask them for favors like this. They also knew they no longer needed to wait for Ferdinand’s approval since he would likely scold them for not immediately doing what she asked them to do.
