Arabella teased Ferdinand a bit more until his face and ears were both red.
Only then, did she finally stop and changed the topic since she felt bad for him.
But then, their topic went back to her scent and her pheromones. And her husband brought up Alwin again.
"Alwin can smell your scent too and knows your pheromones smell like flowers and something sweet. Even though he is unaffected since he is still disinterested in marriage, he might get attached to your scent if he stays in this confined space with you every day. What if he began getting addicted to your scent? I don’t ever want to share you even with Alwin. I raised that brat, but I will never allow him to take you away from me," Ferdinand eyed her with a serious look in his eyes.
She just gave him kisses earlier but here he was again.
But if her scent can indeed do such things, it was better to avoid it.
Alwin would not fall for her, but she didn’t want him to possibly develop a weird addiction to her scent either.
"Ah, I see. That would be bad indeed. He has a lot of beautiful ladies waiting for his attention, doesn’t he? Alright, Alwin won’t do his work in my office anymore. I’m sure he wouldn’t dare either since you already told him off. Don’t be too hard on him since I was truly the one who insisted on him doing his work here. It was just for productivity," Arabella tried to clarify again.
Ferdinand made a complaining sound in his throat.
[She’s talking about him again even though we are already alone. And she’s taking his side.]
’You were the one who brought him up first. And I’m not taking sides.’
