Chapter 257: More Often [Bonus - ]
"Please don’t avoid me again tomorrow. The servants and knights are already misunderstanding things. They thought we were in a fight. Or are we? Are you angry at me or something?"
Arabella searched Ferdinand’s eyes and he doesn’t seem upset with her. Alwin did not report what he heard.
"No, of course not! Why would I be angry at you? I already miss you after not being with you for a whole day," Ferdinand held her even tighter and kissed her hair.
"Then stop avoiding me. If you avoid me again tomorrow, I’ll avoid you too," Arabella said and Ferdinand flinched.
He imagined her avoiding him and he didn’t like it in the least bit.
[Right. It feels terrible to be avoided like that. What was I doing? I should have explained. I made her feel bad.]
"I’m sorry. I won’t do it again," Ferdinand promised not to avoid her and would do his best to remain calm tomorrow. Especially since it was the first day of the official start of the Assembly.
She accepted his apology and kissed him on the cheek.
Ferdinand went for the lips since he had been holding back the whole day. His kisses were hungry and hot.
"Hmm, maybe I should do that for you more often," Arabella thought out loud when they broke apart.
"M-more often?" Ferdinand’s face turned a deep red.
