Arabella left the father and son and had food delivered to Dimo’s room. The Duke would stay there for the night to listen to his son’s story and comfort him.
Meanwhile, Arabella headed to the dining hall where Ferdinand was already waiting for her.
"How did it go?" Ferdinand inquired despite already figuring it out from the smile on her lips.
"Everything went well. Thank you for lending Alwin and letting Dimo stay," Arabella gave her husband a peck on the cheek.
[This feels so nice.]
"Anything for you," Ferdinand responded before capturing her lips for a brief kiss. He thankfully learned now to just give pecks every now and then.
