Chapter 208: True Comrade [Bonus - ]
It was why Arabella used this reason. She thankfully recalled Dimo telling her he had seen her in Medeus at a party when he was a child, and he remembered her face when they unexpectedly met again.
On her part, Arabella had long forgotten but recalled when Dimo reminded her.
Duke Olivier often purchased tea from Lobelius so they were a regular client. Arabella had once spoken with the duke before about Lobelius tea at a party in Medeus. Lobelius tea was Dimo’s late mother’s favorite and the duke had gotten used to drinking it regularly.
[Who is she? She knows my father? I’ve been with father to Medeus several times before so I’m not sure I would remember. Her voice does sound familiar. Where did I hear it before?]
Dimo tried to get a glance at Arabella but both Rendell and the Grand Commander were still blocking the view.
Arabella glanced at her husband, wordlessly asking for permission to speak with Dimo and he nodded.
"Don’t get close. It’s still dangerous. He still might release those flames. He doesn’t seem to have full control over it," Ferdinand wrapped an arm around her waist when she tried to walk forward to get a bit closer to Dimo.
"Right. Sorry." Her husband easily noticed Dimo was not in control of the flames earlier.
Ferdinand then gave a signal to the Rendell and the Grand Commander and they finally moved.
"Demetrius, you may not remember me, but we’ve met in Medeus before. I have spoken a bit with your father," Arabella said as gently and as welcoming as she could.
Dimo was short for Demetrius Ismael Medrona Olivier, his full name from his father and mother.
