Arabella knew now that Ferdinand cannot teleport if they were in Valeria but he can once they were in Estrella.
She was delighted that he brought her to Estrella again.
If all their dates in the future would be in Estrella as well, doesn’t this mean Ferdinand was trying to introduce his true homeland to her slowly?
Ferdinand undid her blindfold and the water that greeted her this time was steaming. It was a bit deeper too but still crystal clear.
Her husband knelt down and checked the water. She followed suit. It was hot but just right to let the body relax.
"Would you like to take a dip?" Ferdinand asked and Arabella blinked twice.
"Can I?" she looked around and they were in the open. They were surrounded by trees but who knows if there were people hiding here and there. She wouldn’t be able to hear their thoughts if they were far away.
But then, she realized that there was a barrier surrounding the whole area. It was transparent and slightly glowing a rainbow shade.
"You noticed? I had a barrier placed so no one else would be able to see us. And you have nothing to worry about since right now, it’s just us here."
Ferdinand explained that no one really stays in the mansion. His butlers just visit it every now and then to ensure it was maintained. He just had it built since he comes here from time to time when he wants to be alone.
’He brought me to a place that’s usually just for him?’ Arabella blushed at the thought. It was as if he was slowly letting her get a peek at his heart.
