As the older among the two, Alwin of course felt guilty for ruining the future of someone so young.
After all, Alwin was not usually as moody and as critical as he was when he’s with Arabella. He was actually honorable and gentlemanly. He was just biased when it comes to Arabella because of his memories of the past.
Arabella just kept forgetting he used to be kind to her too because of his negative thoughts and rude comments about her in this life.
"Umm, won’t you reconsider? Blanca is really pretty, kind, and gentle. She’s not usually like this. It must truly be because of sleeping for too long. She must be eager to be able to roam the skies and explore again," Esmeralda tried to persuade Alwin on Blanca’s behalf.
"No way. She’s still a kid even if she’s 1200 years old. Moreover, I just healed her wings," Alwin didn’t budge. "If I had known she was of marriageable age, I wouldn’t have touched her wings."

Esmeralda kindly explained to Arabella what the conversations were about, thinking that she was not following what was going on because of the telepathy on Blanca’s part. She just omitted the part about Estrella.

Alwin paled when Blanca asked to be brought to Estrella this instant so she could report Alwin to the authorities.
