Even Nadia was highly on alert and ready to fight the monsters as well even when she herself was no longer sure of her fighting abilities.
Nadia didn’t need to fight though with Ferdinand’s knights present.
Despite the people panicking, the knights were calm as they were earlier. After all, they had surrounded the residential area expecting this might happen.
They prepared to fight the monsters who were running toward the residential area. With their numbers, the monsters stirred up dust as they ran along the dry sandy earth.
"Alwin," Ferdinand commanded and Alwin made a huge barrier that surrounded the entire residential area.
Not even dust was able to permeate the barrier Alwin made.
Ferdinand as Sir Elmir explained to Arabella before that the first monsters were created by the God of Mischief because he was bored.
The God of Mischief created them to make living livelier since believed that troubles here and there would make the world more fun.
Monsters had no sense of self, feelings, or a mind or their own. They were all controlled by the God of Mischief to do his bidding.
However, the God of Mischief got busy with something else and was not able to control all of his own creations. They ended up getting free of his control and wreaked havoc. They also multiplied quickly and almost killed all beings they could kill.
