Chapter 34: Fermin [Bonus - ]
"You don’t have a choice in this matter. I am not going to do it for you. I am doing this for milord. So if I succeed; no, I am going to succeed no matter what so make sure to atone for your sins. If you still cannot love milord, at least be considerate of his feelings," Alwin glared at her.
’No! Someone as loyal as you should keep staying by his side. What can I even do for his sake?’
Arabella had only done terrible things to Ferdinand when she was alive. Alwin shouldn’t risk his life to revive her. What if he truly lost his life?
"I have lived a long time beside milord, so I know he would never be happy without you. He would just revert to his old self and hibernate for a long time. Worst yet, he would choose to die. I’d rather risk my life and see milord get a taste of happiness. I am content as long as he is happy. You are what he needs and wants by his side. I believe he had suffered as you wanted. You have gotten what you want. So this time, please give him a little bit of happiness," Alwin bowed his head.
’Don’t bow your head to me. I killed your lord. I hurt him so much. Why are you asking me this?’
Arabella tried to stop Alwin but her hands passed through.
Before she could respond to Alwin, the dragons arrived.
The first to arrive was the huge dragon. Once he settled his feet on the ground, he changed into human form.
Arabella gulped nervously. The larger dragon truly turned into Ferdinand. And not into when he was forty-five. His appearance was when he was still in his late twenties or early thirties.
"Arabella!" Ferdinand rushed to her coffin and embraced her corpse. He lovingly caressed her cheek. "Why?! Why would you hurt yourself? You can’t leave me like this."
There was so much emotion in his eyes and Arabella flinched when he wept. It was hard to believe Ferdinand could also cry.
