Chapter 199: Estel ~ Reunite
"And I don’t care. What I care about is that you disturb my sleep, far from home aren’t you child?"
Estel gulped as her heart slammed so loudly in her chest, his eyes were beautiful gold, shining so brightly in the sunlight but with the way they stared at her it felt like she would drown in them and get lost.. get sunk into a sea of gold and get sailed away.
"You’re not going to drop me are you?" she asked in her sweetest voice for it felt like he would drop her any minute. He didn’t appear to recreate any form of emotions on his angelic features, just straight-line boredom.
There was a harsh silence, one that chilled Estel’s bones and for a minute she thought he was perhaps pondering if he would drop her or not and that only intensified her fear.
He sighed facing ahead, away from the girl with two eye colors, for a reason he didn’t want to stare long for the power that radiated in them clashed with his own, like she could see things that not even he knows about himself and it ticks him off.
He ran his other free black gloved hand through his medium-length midnight hair, allowing the straight stunning hair to pile up and Estel spotted something shiny from his ear, like a diamond, was that a piercing? She never knew men get their ears pierced, this was the first she has seen, and she wouldn’t lie, it does look strange and captivating on him, like a suit to his personality.
Everything about this man was the complete opposite she has ever seen and she was still amazed that this man has a striking resemblance to her papa, for example, if his hair was silver instead of midnight and kept longer with an addiction to a crescent blue moon tattoo on his forehead, then it would be the total copy of her papa.
Speaking of tattoos she got a sneak peek of black ink on the side of his neck but she couldn’t make it out because of his shirt, tailored perfectly like it was made for him, and the crafted design embroidered on it wasn’t missed out. Was he royal by chance?
Without much effort, the strange man dropped her on the branch a foot away from him and Estel breathed in relief knowing he had no intention of dropping her or maybe he did have the thought but decided it was no use.
Finally settling her fast-paced heartbeat Estel indulged herself to look at the gorgeous man once again.
