SILVER-HEART

Chapter 189: Behave

Just standing there and gazing upon my husband was the only relief I could find, the bright sunlight from the multicolored window reflecting rays and giving everything a perfect view. Mostly glazing down on his long silver hair, exquisite and the strong urge to run my hand through them found me.

But it was a crack to my heart when I studied as his hand felt the books one by one on his table, Severus said cataloging was now hard for William, and it was a sight I couldn’t bear, it only brought me pain and guilt watching him like this.

"Will you just stand there, wife?"

I gulped, he knew I was here, I knew he could feel my aura. Summoning all the courage I walked up the stairs and rounded the table.

"Looking for something?"

"A blue book"

My eyes darted to the far corners of it on the table and I reached for it. "This?"

"So that is the aura" he muses. "I have been taking my time to tell which is which by its aura, even books have them, but it won’t be easy to know all trillions of them"

"You will... because you’re William Basker Darkmore"

He raised an eyebrow. "Why does your voice sound cracked?"

I blinked away tears. "N-Nothing, what can I help you with? Apparently, Severus has gone ahead to dot on Estel" I changed the topic, I knew dwelling will only cause me to cry again and I didn’t want that knowing it hurts William when I cry.
