William felt cold droplets of water on his face and he knew no doubt Ava was crying... he didn’t want to tell her this, left for him he could have kept this long enough from her, as long as she didn’t break himself because of it.
Does he regret giving up his eyes?
No... he does not, he would have given more if that were the case. William originally thought Hades would demand his soul but it turns out the god didn’t have interest in it because it was already bound to the library, so he took his eyes instead. William still wondered why that of all things but at least he got what he wanted.
As per their deal, Aldon will be trapped in eternal torment in the underworld and he knew without a doubt Hades will have his fun, it was the first soul offered to him as tribute as he had mentioned that day before vanishing.

Those were Hades’ words before departing and William knew it was not something pleasant, at least Aldon got what he deserves.
Hearing Ava’s sniffs, William broke out of his lines of thought. He wanted so badly to see Ava right now, but he can’t, even though it has been one month he was still getting used to being blind.
Thanks to his enhanced hearing and the feeling of auras he can get by easily but it was not as easy as he thought or fun. Because right now he wanted so badly to set his eyes on her, as well as his daughter.
