SILVER-HEART

Chapter 183: The Passing Of The Elves

I heard a delicate singing, laced with Elven language and then the most beautiful of tunes, enough to bring warmth to my heart. Enough to calm the storm in my head, a particular tone I was given the privilege to listen to for 6 months, a voice that has helped me sleep.

"Adina"

"This is the last time your highness"

At her voice, I slowly opened my eyes and found the beauty before me, graced with her slightly tanned skin, midnight hair, and soft hazels.

I smiled upon seeing her. "I told you not to call me your highness anymore"

She giggled. "Well just this once... your highness"

She took my hand. "I wish I could be here and hear more of your stories, the last 6 months we spent together catering for Estel was a dream come true. I love the stories you tell of the library. Of your husband who is as cold as the winter but still warm, Severus who is one who always smiles, Elvenia who always keeps a stoic expression, and of course little Sophia" She subconsciously gave my hand a gentle squeeze.

I have told her many stories about the library whenever I wanted to take my mind off things, and she always listens in awe as I explained the Holy Library to her. We were closer in that period of 6 months and she was my guiding light at that dark hour when I wanted to lose all hope.

"I wish I could have met them"

I placed my hand on hers. "You can"

She gave me a sad smile. "You probably don’t remember, I guess you sleep too deeply that you forget"
