Chapter 174: A Failed Yang
"He is not your husband!" he growled, his silver eyes blazing showing the fury storming his eyes and yet I remained unfazed. I was already used to this side of him, there was nothing he could do to scare me, he had already done his worst.
"Everything was a sick plot of yours, you made him feel despair, you cursed him!" I seethed. I wanted to scream at him, clawing his eyes out and let him feel my rage, he made William suffer, William suffered because of him, and yet he protected me with everything he could. I regretted lashing out at him thinking he abandoned me.
William never abandoned me and he was always there, he has already taken my heart and I wasn’t planning on taking it back, it was his forever.
"And I will do it again!" he boomed. "Again and again and again until he is just an empty shell!" He closed the distance between us and backed me to the wall, caging me there and I kept my unreadable eyes on his raging ones.
He looked like he was about to rip me apart and yet put me back together, the look in his eyes was pure rage that shocked my very bones and yet I looked him eye to eye in the means of the storm.
"Even now... even if he remembers, there is nothing he can do, he is bound to that dimension to be trapped in that library for eternity" he cupped my cheek and I wanted to put it away but he gripped me hard until it hurt but I didn’t make a sound. I won’t give him that satisfaction.
"He won’t come, Aveline and you can’t be in his world, it rejects you because I say so and you only belong in mine for eternity"
"My name... is Ava," I said with clenched teeth.
His eyelid twitches and he leaned close in a heartbeat, his breath washing on my feature and he was heaving like he was about to explode. "As much as I would want to cut that thing out of your womb I must resist, I can’t bear to watch you suffer, it destroys me"
"Fuck you!" I seethed and he paused and then a frown covered his features before he pulled away.
"I will let you spend time with it, 9 months right?" he nods, naive to the insult I have just given him. "And then in your presence, I will bring a dagger to her throat and slit it right before your eyes. She is the obstacle in our relationship and I will bring it to an end" and then he smiled as if he hadn’t made the most horrifying threat ever. "I can’t wait to meet sweet Estel"
