SILVER-HEART

Chapter 133: Entirely Consumed

I could still feel his lips on mine, the gentle press against mine before I could even act, it was like he sealed more than a kiss on my lips and I could strangely feel it... the weird sensation coursing through my blood. Even as I traced them with my fingers, I couldn’t help the shudders that brewed within me, my eyes staring back at me, watching myself through the mirror as I reminisced a dream.

But it didn’t feel like a dream, it felt far too real because I still vividly recalled walking out of my chambers, feeling the cold from the night air, his gentle voice to my ears, his touch as he rubbed against my birthmark as he told me it belonged to him.

At that thought I turned, pulling down the top of my gown to expose my upper shoulder where my mark lay. I gulped, setting my eyes on it.

The doors instantly spread open and I stilled, darting my eyes to the mirror and through it, I saw William. I forgot to breathe even for a second, I forgot to move too as I locked gaze with him, and it just seemed like we pinned each other down with our heated gaze.

He’s just as handsome as the last time I saw him. Wearing a white shirt and pants, even as simple as he looked and probably exhausted from the library work there was not a single hair out of place.

He’s simply perfect.

I rested my palms on the table holding his gaze on the mirror as he sauntered to me in slow and gentle steps but each sound of his shoes against the floor gave a number of beats in my heart. I almost held my breath when he stopped right behind me, and the amount of heat that slipped through me was enough to be called outlandish. It was very overwhelming and my breathing picked up.

But it ceased for a moment when his hand wrapped around my throat in a delicate yet dominating manner. His eyes burned into mine in an unspoken heat.

"Were you a good girl these past few days, Sweetness?" he says directly to my ear and holding my gaze, I didn’t once look away, I couldn’t look away not with a look like that, a look I mirrored. The passion, heat, and longing, were both exploding in our eyes and everything I wanted to think about was him. Nothing else, my encounter with Aldon was long forgotten and all I wanted was to imprint this moment into my body and soul.

The feeling of his warm body marching mine

His passionate gaze fed me with the hunger and desire swirling within his crystal-green eyes.
