Chapter 130: A Much More Desirable Part
"Y-You do not mean that," I said softly.
There was no way he would plunge this entire place out of existence because it hurts me right?
Then again I remembered what he did to an entire race of pixies.
"Ava" he began and twirled me, resting a hand on my cheek. "Do you not know how important you are to me?" he said as if it were the simplest thing ever that even a toddler would understand. "Or do I need to further prove myself?" his eyes dilated along with the last of his words.
I said nothing, keeping my eyes on his and watching him mean every single word expressed to me like it was the simplest of poems.
"You’re a part of me Ava, a part of me I can never get rid of, that is why I said I will get to the bottom of this, trust me"
I blinked, leveling my gaze before shifting it back to his. "I do not hate you William, I don’t think I ever can"
Even though I was filled with nothing but pain and anger all I could think about was him, his lips, his touch, his words to ears, and mostly how my chest tugged at his mere presence, his comforting aura, and his rarest smile I try so hard to imprint in my head and the view of him sleeping.
Every single thing about William Basker Darkmore was special to me and I hold dearly to my heart. Seeing all his life through those orbs struck something in me, about the kind of man he is... a man of few words known only to knowledge having those loyal to him because of his intellect, giving his all for something that was marked for him at birth.
Having no love of a parent but he has the warmest soul I have ever encountered. No matter how much that image played of him leaving me, no matter how I want to blame him... I could still picture when he took off his mask and stared at me with sad eyes, even in the pouring rain, I saw it... something I barely noticed because of shock.
That day William left me at the orphanage... he was crying, I saw tears streaming down his cheeks, and I had mistaken them for the rain but after countless times of reliving that image, I saw the truth.
