Chapter 65: A Wake To His Hunger And His Tamer {1}
The air was chilly and the stillness was unnerving, William was impossibly hushed the moment he buried his head in my neck.
"W-William," I said as delicately as I could. A deep quiver ran through me when his lips on my neck shifted and that sharp feeling came again, it felt like the edge of a blade was running through my skin, gods were those his canines? They were so sharp! Goosebumps formed on my body.
"Would you leave if I told you to?" he asked close to my ear.
"Are you alright, William?" I asked, suddenly worried because he was acting unfamiliar now.
He slowly pulled away from me until he was a good distance away. Why does he look paler than usual? Was he sick? He didn’t look like that a few minutes ago, what has changed?
He ran his hand through his silver hair but paused right beneath his forehead and a pile formed, he looked so sinfully beautiful. "I’m tired," he said looking to the side.
god or not he was bound to be tired after days of working nonstop in the library or was it something else? Why do I get it has to do with something else?
Mustering all the bravery I could I walked to the bed and his eyes followed, detailing my every move. I sat on the bed, running my palms on my lap.
"No, I won’t leave," I said, tapping my lap. He stared at me almost like he was trying to read me and I blushed. "I won’t bite, it’s just that I learned something soothing for the brain" I murmured but I was certain he heard me.
