I rubbed my head against the pillow, the texture so soft that it gave me ease, my sore muscles were no longer painful, and my body felt light and comfy. I groaned, sucking on my bottom lips murmuring to myself, which I could clearly hear, but it was more like little groans for the realms of sleep were too satisfying and celestial. My hand gripped and I noticed a warmth coming from it, it gave me some sort of relaxation, better ease than the bed. What could be a better ease than a fluffy bed?
To get my answer I leisurely opened my eyes, my blurry sleepy eyes landed on my hand connected with another, getting more confused I glimpsed my eyes all the way to the sitting figure beside me, and my vision cleared immediately when I got a better look, William!
My eyes went broad, he just sat there with his other hand on a book he held, which he appears to be engrossed in, or so I thought.
"You’re awake..."
Hearing his voice first thing in the morning became celestial to me, sweet to my ears, and musculine.
"I was wondering how long you intend to hold my hand," he added, not bothering to turn his attention away from the book.
My broadened eyes dropped, our hands still connected and it all came back. I remembered after his words I ended up crying and when he wanted to leave I didn’t let him as I held his hand, that was it, that was all I remembered, I must have fallen asleep right after.
