Chapter 205: Tutor Me
"Where are you going?" Nicklaus asked with a nudge of his head which only made him more dashing in that action. I cleared my throat, hoping to clear my head of the lustful thoughts I was having right now.
"To meet Alaric, for my training," I said, folding my arms.
"Training?" It was Bartholomew that spoke this time with puzzled expressions. "Whatever does the Empress need to train for?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Well since I’m some target for some ominous presence I need to know how to defend myself"
Bartholomew and the rest of the council were informed of the truth from 2 thousand years ago, just a small part of it, Nicklaus wants to keep it in a small group so that they can investigate it thoroughly.
"You will do no such thing" Nicklaus’ strong voice pinned me down and I could only grow more frustrated, I wasn’t gonna allow him denial me this, I WILL come through with this, which I promised myself I would, I don’t want him taking all the load, I have to stand for myself.
I was about to open my mouth to speak but he caught me off too fast with that husky voice of his.
"I... will train you"
My eyes widened at his words, and my lips apart. "What?"
It just took two steps from him to close the space between us, and I was forced to lift my face to meet his intense gaze on me.
"My dearest brother is currently busy, I will supervise your training"
