SILVER-HAIRED

Chapter 203: The Merge

During our bath Nicklaus watched me like a hawk and his hands kept reaching for me, he was alert and careful not to feel too comfortable with our surroundings, it got me worried, how can he possibly keep this up? Sooner or later we might not be in the same location, there would be a time he would have to attend to his Emperor duties and focus on other things, he can’t possibly keep an eye on me like this?

We were both dressed, I settled with a red silk gown that fell straight to my legs, long sleeve and the front covered my breast looked like a robe wrap, I noticed my silver hair had some straight qualities now, it was no long wavy like it use to, it fell straight all the way to my waist, and my natural bangs fell straight too and pushing to the sides just so to reveal my blue crescent moon tattoo on my forehead.

Nicklaus wore the usual black royal attire that was simply breathtaking on him, our hands locked as we exited the cottage, I remembered our talk now, something about merging our realms?

"How do you intend to do it... something like that must require a very powerful spell," I said.

"Yes, it does," he said as for a brief second we stopped, with a wave of his hand a portal opened before us and he led me within, it took some seconds and then we were in a dark hall, lit by torches.

We strolled and made a turn and I came into view of the space, it looked just like his personal study room back in the Mortal Realm. The space looked like a cathedral, the ceiling was well crafted with every detail, a chandelier was suspended to it, lighted with candles, about three were also against the two sides of the wall but not as big as the one against the ceiling, it gave this atmosphere of calmness and solitude.

The walls were well crafted majestically, with black wallpapers but embodied with golden design. The center had a chess color floor, it was marble, smooth and shiny.

"Wow, this looks like..."

"I know" he mused. "This is my spell Library, I keep it tethered away from the Realms because of my Dark Grimoire, wouldn’t want it to get in the wrong hands"

We walked up the rectangle stance holding a book at the center purely black. "I remember this..." I said as my memories of the Holy Library flooded in. "This book was part of the special collection kept in a restricted area," I said.

"Well Basker gifted it to me"
