Chapter 124: A Question
We were both in the bath, in yet another hall connected to our chambers, the bath was wider than the ones I used in the Mortal Realm like a full stream, the milky water and red roses within, it gave wonderful fragrance, also warm and pleasant against the skin.
I giggled as Nicklaus trailed kisses on my neck from behind, he was all clingy, our nonstop sessions until we finally got to the bath and he couldn’t keep his hands off and I loved it, especially as he started nibbling my ear again. We were both seated in the water, he hugged me from behind and my body rested against his wall of a chest. It was wonderful, even though there was a prolonged silence between us, it was shared and perfect, everything with him was perfect. His hands moved and cupped my two breasts giving them a gentle squeeze, I groaned.
"Celeste told me everything," he began.
"Hmm" I hummed too focused on his hand folding my breasts.
"Seems like your Mother goddess didn’t just curse me... she put you on trial"
My eyes flashed open, my mind reminisced about all that has happened, my time with him I have forgotten everything but I guess it’s time to remember, I knew we were going to talk about it sooner or later.
"All my life in the Mortal realm was all forged based on a trial," I began, remembering my papa, Mother, Danette, and everyone else I knew doing my stay there. "Like a lie"
I turned to him.
"We are together now, that’s all that matters," he said softly before leaning down to kiss me.
