"You want me to be a fighter in your pit club?" Ethan asked stun, was that even legal for his age?
The thought of staying here and fighting to his death made dread consume him. He wouldn’t just be a fighter but be trapped here, never seeing his parents and sister again and that thought alone was what scared him the most.
"Yes my dear boy, be my fighter, my star and then I give you the cure" he said with a flick of his fingers, a man on wine red came behind him, giving he a piece of red paper.
There was no way he could resist now, he had him right where he wanted him. Emotions was what killed great power and the moment he obtain his star he shall eliminate that factor.
"All you have to do is sign the contract and then we are good" he adds with a shrug. "You’ll hear Eden’s voice again"
Ethan’s heartbeat raced, eyes on the red paper and possibly a way to save Eden’s life. Suddenly it wasn’t about the dread anymore but hope that he might set things right. He couldn’t protect his sister but with this he could.
"Why are you doing this?" Riley asked sternly. His attempts to trick her son into this was really low even for Hunter, he showed how desperate he was to have Ethan. It didn’t matter how Important Hunter thinks he was, he will not be having her son.
His mom’s words snapped Ethan out of it, he blinked, heartbeat racing until they drowned his ears.
"Because my Queen, your son is perfect... tell me dear Ethan don’t you want to save your precious sister?" He asked in amusement.
Ethan gulps hard at his words, his gaze drifting to the paper. All it took was to sign that and return Eden will be alright. He reach for it but Riley stops him with her hand.
"Mom!" He yelled, this was a way to save Eden’s life and they shouldn’t stop.
