"Yeah," Ethan said sternly, his mood turning for the worse. "How could I forget" his frown deepened.
"Then let’s not make it difficult for her okay?" Eden pleaded with sad eyes. She knew Ethan only acted this way because they barely see mom. His behaviour was just an excuse.
Ethan sighed.
Their teacher walks in, the rest of the students settled down. The noise dialed down to murmurs until it was completely silent.
"Ethan O’Brien" the teacher called looking away from her paper.
Ethan raised his gaze to meet hers.
"The principals office" she added sternly.
Gasps filled the classroom as they all turned to him and Ethan became the center of attention.
His mom was right, he was gonna answer for this. He frowned at that thought before rising to his feet.
