Riley stirred awake with a groan, she slowly opened her eyes, making with the chandelier just at the ceiling, she groaned sitting up, turning to the side. A frown formed against her features when she saw the empty space beside her, for the past week it has been like this. She always woke up in an empty bed, she rarely saw her husband, it was like they were both strangers in their own home.
No closure or anything, he wasn’t even sleeping in bed anymore, he was a damn ghost, her features frowned further, she just wanted him close and to be able to tell him that everything was okay, but he wasn’t giving her a chance to.
Each time she comes home after seeing the others, she doesn’t catch a glimpse of him, although he was in the house she doesn’t see him, like a ’damn ghost’ as she said.
She sighed heavily.
Suddenly the door opened and she whirled quickly to it, she met with Liam and her heart fluttered just by seeing him, have they even seen this week?
"Liam," she said with shaky eyes.
He turns to her, the black bags under his eyes becoming more evident, his skin paler than usual. He had on just a pair of loose pants and a shirt.
"You’re awake" he said in a dim tone that she couldn’t even recognize, which made her heart ache.
