Chapter 190: Black Wrath [1]
"After centuries of slumber... it is only natural his blood lust is as high as this’’ Anubis said, his tone laced with seriousness. Like a wake of a blood thirsty beast, kept locked and finally sprung free to wreak havoc yes! That was exactly what Omari was gonna do... wreak HAVOC
The thunder struck clamorously, the mere vibration making the glass tumble, the skies darken instantly further at something ominous, the lightning flickered around, the cloud pitch black.
"Ha curse it Omari! It’s time to go back to sleep! Don’t cause trouble for the mortals!" Anubis hissed, he knew Omari wasn’t on his right mind right now, Liam O’Brien the present black ghoul simply just tapped into his rage. Which was not supposed to happen, what was happening right now was highly impossible, Omari was not supposed to awaken.
"Bress ses des fig gos res" Omari hissed.
["Don’t stand in my way, dog!"]
Anubis flinched at the name he called him, getting slightly pissed, this was definitely Omari on a rampage. He didn’t even regard him anymore, well when has he regarded him before? Omari was always like this, to begin with, an odd deja vu.
"W-What is he saying?" Riley said trying to keep up with the language but didn’t seem to. It was all foreign to her, it was like a dialect she didn’t understand, but this was far different, it wasn’t like the rest of the languages.
"It’s ghoul language, too bad the present society of ghouls has dropped it," Anubis said. The ghouls have mostly dropped everything over the years, he has watched, he has observed, and modern society has taken over everything. The remnants of Ghouls were like dust, twirling around in the wind, in reach but further apart from the people.
Omari rotates the staff he held around his hand, an unseen force coming around him. The dark aura came more around him in a most dangerous way, like a plague of the storm really to gust and consume everything in sight.
Anubis made hand signs Riley couldn’t keep up like he was chanting or trying to call on something, she could hear the murmurs of words she couldn’t keep up with, like a faint whisper of chants. Was he a wizard or something? That was the only thought that crossed Riley’s mind right now, her brain couldn’t begin to process all these scenarios, but she knew what was unfolding before her eyes was something unimaginable and here she thought only she and Liam were, but there was more to it and she knew it.
Her throat still burned, and she held it at the recall of the pain, her windpipe was really so close to being crushed, even without the staff, she would have been dead from it. The mere thought of it sent shivers down her spine and her heart hammering like a drum, her trembling eyes set on the wrath before her, wrath that was her husband.
