Riley groaned leaning on the wall, her blood stained it. The pain from her shoulder hurt like a hurricane, it was a miracle she was still standing, this wasn’t a bullet to the chest but it felt like it, her vision was pinning, she stumbled so many times, luckily Silver was able to help her halfway through, or else it could have been much worse.
"Oh my God!" Iris exclaimed panicking as she rushed to her side,
"I got your text, why aren’t you healing?" she asked worriedly, holding her steady.
"I don’t know why" Riley began in a harsh breath, she felt extremely weak from losing too much blood.
"He used some kind of blade... bullet..." She adds as her mind replayed the events, and it was all hazy, just which was it again? Maybe both, the fight went so fast before her eyes.
"Dammit Riley you should have told Liam about your plan, you should have told the others, I don’t like this... I’m getting Liam this instant" Iris said both pissed and worried. When Riley came to her about this, she knew this was a bad idea, they should have told the others they caught info about Vincent Jones coming to the city. But Riley wanted to keep it in.
"No please don’t" Riley begged, pulling her back down. Knowing if Liam knew about this it won’t end well.
"For god’s sake Riley, we should have told him about the info we got of Vincent coming back to New York... both of you would have stopped him together, not going on this suicide mission by yourself!" She half yelled both worried and angry.
"I can’t Iris, I can’t let him bear this alone this time, I can’t just sit around and watch him carry the load and leave me out of it like it doesn’t affect me too"
