Her body was paralyzed once again, unable to do anything, she wished she had stopped him but Riley knew even if she did he wouldn’t come back, she could see it in his eyes. She could only stand watching, her heartbeat the only sound she could hear as Liam walked away from her, that moment it was all gone.
She watches as he kept walking further and further away from her until he was gone.
