The moment I started, I couldn’t fucking stop, not now or ever. I’ll stick with it no matter what. Emma belonged to me and no one else, I can’t let them take it away from me again. I just needed to keep her here longer before I figured something out. And if all I had to do was lie? Then I’ll cross that bridge.
I know I don’t make any sense and there’s no logic but when have I ever done anything reasonable?
I took a cigarette and lit the bottom with my zippo, a signal crossed my head and I let it through, allowing the link to forge. There was no avoiding it now.
Singe: Alpha! Thank God I was finally able to reach you.
Me: What do you fucking want?!
Singe: Well I don’t know how to explain this but the Lioness’s parents came here a week ago demanding to see the Adam’s. They are worried about her.
Me: And what did you tell them?
Singe: I-I told them she’s with you and you’re sick and she’s tending to you?
Me: Tell them you got the message through and she doesn’t want to see them at least for now. She needs time.
