Chapter 409: Out For Blood
Dan chuckled, hopping on his toes as a warm-up and the crowd cheered again canceling every other noise, either hailing me or Dan. I have sparred with Dan once, which was 5 years ago when we matched strength, he was in his Rogue form then and so was I. The fight was animalistic as it could get... bloody and I ended up overpowering him and proving my worth to them. Out of all the Rogues I fought that night, they all ended up dead or in pieces, he was the last one standing, that is how lethal he is and how crazy when it comes to the acts of fighting.
But right now I don’t consider this a sparring.
I went on a fighting stance and we rounded each other like predators ready to pounce on each other, he sniffed and wiped the blood running down his nose while smirking.
"We haven’t spared in 5 years, Alpha"
"So?"
"So it means I’m not the same Rogue I was then, I have trained all these years in hopes of matching your strength once again" he chuckled. "Thank you for this opportunity, Alpha"
"Four words," I said as I stopped rounding, and rolled my shoulder, tilting my head to the side. "I’m not holding back"
He was about to give a comeback but at a menacing speed I came at him like dusk, it took 0.01 second for his eyes to go wide at my sudden speed, I didn’t give time for him to think as I bashed my fist into his face and placed my hands on his broad shoulder and knee he hard in the abdomen and blood spat from his mouth.
He chuckled. "You weren’t kidding" he spit a tooth. "I won’t hold back too, Alpha"
We came at each other almost matching the same speed, punches flying, and kicks, with blood staining the already bloodied floor, the cheer loudest as we fought like animals.
Dan fell to one knee breathing heavily and I matched his breathing, spitting a mouth full of blood but I still stood ready to go again.
