Chapter 376: One Hour
The remnant of the flight was tranquil for me, Just the soft sound of the plane in the air, and the harsh gush of wind. I found it hard to keep my eyes open, each practice of trying to keep my gaze focused was a vain attempt. Everything was becoming more vague by the minute, like the bite was working its way into my body again, like a sedative in my bloodstream. I could feel the bite healing but it was too slow, it would take forever and I don’t have forever.
I have to stay awake... I have to try.... passing out once again wasn’t a good idea. Who knew what would happen again?
I heard the pilot making an announcement to prepare for landing and I knew what that meant.
We’re in Juneau
I never imagined I would come back... I never did and most importantly I never thought I would be kidnapped back to this place. Everything is screwed up and I was right in the center of all this mess. There were all kinds of ways to get answers and I knew torture was one of them and I was no exception, the thought of pain caused more dread to fill my lungs and I suddenly had difficulty breathing replaying everything that would happen to me the moment I’m taken to the lion’s den.
The thought of Dace torturing me... was not pleasant at all.
I heard the door but I couldn’t see properly as the weariness took over me, judging from the smell I acknowledged I knew it was Dace, if I passed out now there wouldn’t be any other way.
I felt my seat belt come off and I was grabbed.
