"Phew! We’re done!" Emma groaned, landing on the bed exhausted from all the work, I chuckled at her antics.
"Come on, I don’t have much stuff," I said, taking a seat on my bed and lying next to her. We just finished setting up my room and even though I told Emma I could handle everything she insisted she wanted to help me.
"How do you feel?" she suddenly asked me and I shifted my eyes away from the ceiling and looked to the side, I got a better look at her side profile, her eyes glued to the ceiling.
"What do you mean?"
"I never got the chance to ask" she sighed and I looked back at the ceiling. "How do you feel about all this drastic change, finding out you’re an Adams and that you have a twin sister"
"I-Its..." I didn’t know how to start. "It’s not that hard honestly, it just feels like a missing part of me is found and the rest just came through" I began with narrowed eyes. "You know I didn’t realize until now but all my life I felt like a part of me was missing... I had unconditional love from my mom and dad but it felt like-"
"It wasn’t enough" She finished for me and I could tell she was smiling. "I always felt alone ever since, the lonelier I felt the more I wanted to be isolated from others, It’s not that I don’t like people, it just felt so odd communicating and it got my social abilities in a mess, I felt like I rather talked with-"
"Someone else" I finished for her.
And she giggled at my words. "And now we finish each other sentences don’t tell me we have like a twin tingle of something"
"Twin tingle?"
