Chapter 310: The Guests

Lucas flipped me with his brutal strength and I found myself flat on the ground. The action caused me to be back to earth, just how long I was lost in my head and unable to detect an attack from Lucas? That was new and alarming for me...
"Wow, I have never done that before because you always overpower me, what the fuck are you thinking?" Lucas said, stretching his hand for me to take, and I took it as he helped me up with a strong pull.
We were doing some sparing exercise, we werelions maybe strong naturally but that doesn’t mean we don’t train once in a while, and it has been a while for me, I still need to test my strength and more importantly keep my mind in check, it was internal chaos for me and I thought sparing with Lucas would help, but no. It brought me to the ground instead, just fucking great!
"You good?" he asked a hundred times ever since and I brought my eyes to his brown ones.
"I’m fine..." I mumbled already getting irritated again, I was awfully irritated this period, almost like every little thing ticks me off, I can’t help it, because my body knows, knows I have been apart from Emma for far too long, but I mentally told myself I have to get my beast in check because after what happened it has been damn torture for me, I still remember how my claws pierced her delicate skin, the blood, and her whimper.
I don’t wanna go through that again, this is why I tried sparing more and perhaps getting my physical body to be strong enough to hold that random transformation. My Cuz Lucas might see this as a random request from me but it was more than that for me, But certainly, instead of concentrating on that I can’t fucking take my mind off Emma.
"Yeah right," he scoffs. "You basically let me flip you which is not normal even for me, where’s your head at?" Lucas came again strongly. Maybe I was wrong because he definitely knew there was something wrong with me and I wasn’t exactly hiding it, it was clearly present on my face... so much to ’dealing with my problems’.
