Dace was acting wild right now... he literally carried me caveman style back to the cottage house and while on the way I protested as best as I could, and I grew tired and weak with spinning eyes. So I kept silent and let him do his bidding, is there a time he hasn’t? I was flushed now and frustrated too... mix feeling all in one, especially with all that has happened, it was worth being flushed right.
I kept silent all the way as he walked up the stairs, leading me to his room, and with a drop, I was on the bed taking off my bag but I kept my eyes fixated on him, he gave me an unreadable expression, not until he spoke.
"Care to explain?" he began in that wonderful baritone voice of his, that caused a friction between my legs. But I completely ignored the feeling.
"You used magic" he sounded angry and upset and I understood why... I knew he didn’t want me to use it but I couldn’t help it at that moment, that purely responded to my emotion and it sort of burst through... mostly because he was hurting Grayson.
"Because of you, you were gonna kill Grayson" I mumbled.
He sighed heavily running his hand through his raven curly hair that bounced when he did, it showed just how outgrown they were.
"How long have you known he’s a Venator?"
I gulped. "Long enough"
"When?"
